Throws
Lou’s Thread supply luxury throws in a variety of materials. The throws are all made in the UK using natural fibres and are a size large enough for a King size bed or sofa.
Cotton throws – are made from recycled brushed cotton and are blanket stitched round the edge to give them a neat smart finish. There are 6 reversible patterned throws in the collection, each having between 4-6 colours in each pattern. They are machine washable. Size: 160cm x 190cm
Woolen throws – are made with 100% British wool and have a tassel finish along two sides. There are 29 traditional checked throws and 8 plain throws in the collection. Size: 170cm x 145cm
Lambs wool throws – these really are a bit of luxury. They are beautifully soft and cosy. The throws are 100% British lamb’s wool and have a tassel finish along two sides. There are 4 soft pastel colours in this collection. Size 170cm x 145cm
Chunky Knit Blankets – Chunky knits are a ‘must have’ right now. We have totally fallen in love with them! You can now order your handmade, chunky knit, merino wool throw, in any size with over 90 colours to choose from. The chunky knit throws are all woven by hand and made to order.

Lampshades – Lampshades are a great way to bring a room together. At Lou’s Thread we can make you a bespoke lampshade to go with your room design in fabric or wallpaper of your choice. You can also choose a colour for the inside of the shade from matt silver to mirrored copper. Sizes range from small candle shades to 1 meter wide ceiling shades. Shapes include Drum, Empire, Coolie, Candle, Oval, square and rectangle.
Cushions – Cushions are great at adding character to a room. They can be for decoration, to soften the look of a sofa or for a practical use like adding comfort and colour to kitchen chairs by adding bespoke form filled pads.
At Lou’s Thread we can make piped scatter cushions, which will fill with 100% duck down for high luxury, piped bench seat cushions filled with top quality foam pads, and chair pads to add a little comfort to a wooden seat.
